MFI Pump Repair: €1,300-3,000 plus shipping

When you request a pump repair your pump, we correct the minimum items required to optimise your pump’s performance, according to the specification. Parts are replaced like for like. This means you can end up with a properly functioning pump. No cosmetic measures will be taken. This is the budget approach to improving the health of your MFI system.

Included in this price is extensive bench testing and adjustment, to validate the pump’s output after several hours of operation. This can take up to 10 hours on the bench. Total price depends on the state of the pump you send us.

Should your pump be heavily corroded, requiring a full rebuild, then we will come back to you and suggest an exchange instead, as the repair cost will often exceed the exchange price. If you choose to retain your original pump then we can obviously execute the repair.

MFI Pump Exchange: from €3,200 plus shipping

We exchange original specification MFI pumps like for like. These pumps are renovated, retaining as many original parts as possible, using remanufactured or NOS components where necessary

MFI Pump Upgrades or Modifications: €1,300-4,000 plus shipping

We can modify any Porsche/Bosch pump to any kind of specification on a flat six. We do need extensive information from you to understand the specification of the target engine. This service assumes that you deliver us a repairable core to modify.

Installation Disclaimer

Unless you have the pump installed by an MFI specialist recognised as an expert in this field, we cannot provide a warranty. Unfortunately we have seen several cases where damage to the pump, or even the engine, occurred due to lack of expertise in dealing with MFI systems. Frequently problems with MFI are due to the quality and configuration of the choke circuit, choke “heater” line from the exhaust and throttle release switches, rather than with the adjustment or functioning of the pump.

When installing an overhauled MFI pump ALL elements of the fueling system need to be in perfect working order: Correct specification electrical fuel pump, correct filter system, choke switch on filter housing, correct specification isolated warm-up line from exhaust to choke sensor and fuel line diameters are an absolute requirement for your engine to run well with its new pump.

Our MFI pump tuning service includes rigorous bench-testing, which measures the capacity and performance of the MFI pump. Pumps are in optimal working order according to the configuration you have indicated to be running. We cannot take responsibility for direct or indirect damage caused by installation or operation of the pumps.
