Description

This WEVO transmission mount kit is designed to update worn and degraded gearbox mounts on the 911 Turbo/930 transmission beam. The OE design of this part includes non-serviceable rubber mounts.

These parts are all in excess of 17 years old and many are in dangerously fragile condition – allowing engine and transmission movement in the chassis that leads to poor gear selection and abnormal stresses on oil fittings and other systems bridging the powertrain and the bodyshell.

The WEVO solution via Twinspark is a fabrication kit that is shipped with a drawing containing necessary installation dimensions and notes for welding – the pictures show the black pillows and a mount that has been modified (what yours should look like when completed). This system uses the same basic components as the WEVO SS Engine mounts, that are designed for use on 911 Turbo chassis of the same vintage.
