Singer Vehicle Design has presented their first restoration developed to a client’s motorsport specification.
The 1990 Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – All-terrain Competition Study (ACS) has been developed in special partnership with noted 911 rally and motorsport specialist Tuthill Porsche to enable off-road racing and exploration.
At the request of their client, Singer has looked to a golden era of Porsche rallying in the 1980s, and to automotive heroes including the 911 SC/RS and 959, to reimagine his air-cooled 911 as a World Rally Championship-inspired, all-terrain competition machine.
Features include a strengthened monocoque, raised ride height, twin turbo-charged 3.6L flat-six, permanent AWD, specialised long-travel suspension with twin, 5-way adjustable competition dampers per corner, FIA-certified race seats and GPS race navigation system. This is Singer’s take on the 911 Safari.
The results of the All-terrain Competition Study will be available to other Singer clients wishing to equip their cars with these capabilities. Welcome ACS!

Lively discussions about our favorite cars quickly evolved between all comers at the TwinSpark Fest for our showroom. The early afternoon saw torrential downpour, followed by a blue sky and as the crowd grew, the front gate lifted and the sun warmed the room. That picture of Woodstock in the back is hiding the main gate in the above picture. 
We were pleased to see around 65 guests arrive and about 25 911s of varying types. At about about 5pm I opened the party officially and welcomed everyone to what some already started to enjoy as their classic 911 space. Every attendant received a TwinSpark T-shirt and for the R Gruppe members in attendance a special logo-ed version to celebrate the opening of the European Club House. A plaque was revealed with the names of the European membership.
