TwinSpark Racing moving from Monaco to Le Mans

We’ve had five great days on the 2010 R Gruppe Bergmeister Tour. The participants have covered thousands of incredible kilometres, on twisty clifftop roads, to some of the highest mountain passes in Europe.

The smiles on the faces of those driving have been the best reward for every ounce of work TwinSpark Racing have put into organising the event, and preparing two of the cars taking part! I don’t know what we can do to top this for fun, but you can be sure that the thinking caps have gone on.

We’ll review the lessons learnt on the Bergmeister in due course but, apart from the satisfaction of knowing that our fellow Porsche enthusiasts have all had a great time, the crest of our current emotional wave is the joy of no serious mechanical failures suffered by the protagonists.

Leonard Stolk, TwinSpark Racing’s CEO,  has already posted some in-car video, taken on a spirited drive up the Col de Turini, so here are a few pictures of TwinSpark’s Porsche 911 3.0 RSR from the road. I can honestly say that it (Woodstock) and the WEVO and TwinSpark parts fitted to it have now been 100% rally tested! We’ll update you on the parts build list in a forthcoming post.

Tomorrow we drive the 1100 kilometres from Monaco to Le Mans, for the Le Mans Classic. I predict that sleep on Thursday night will not be a problem!
