This product is designed to update worn and degraded transmission mounts on the 901 transmission beam.

The O.E. design of this part includes non-serviceable rubber mounts. These parts are all in excess of 30 years old and many are in dangerously fragile condition – allowing engine and transmission movement in the chassis that leads to poor gear selection and abnormal stresses on oil fittings and other systems bridging between the powertrain the bodyshell.

The solution is this WEVO fabrication kit, shipped with a drawing containing necessary installation dimensions and notes for welding. This system uses the same basic components as the WEVO SS Engine mounts, that are designed for use on 911 chassis of the same vintage.

The WEVO SS 901 Transmission Beam is suited for the following applications: 911 1965-1971. Each kit has two mounts.

Technical Note: The M12 bolt through the Engine or Transmission mount should be tightened to 40 ft/lbs or 55 Nm. The M12 Schnorr (serrated) washer should be installed directly under the head of the M12 bolt. The M8 hardware should be tightened to 18 ft/lbs or 25 Nm using the original arrangement of washer and nut.
