On April 11 2015 we are opening our show room to the public of early 911 enthusiasts and all that feel related to that community. Not only do we embrace the classic 911 community at large, but we are opening our facilities to R Gruppe Europe to enjoy our premises as their official Club House.

The opening ceremony on the 11th of April 2015 at 16:00 hrs will be a party celebrated amongst our championship cars and those of drones of fellow enthusiasts who we offer drinks and an Indonesian snack in what is surely a unique ambiance in Europe. After many years of scouting and testing, including an outright scam-job by a potential supplier, we have finally launched a wheel range which we are confident of will satisfy our client base.

Not only do TwinSpark offer factory standard offsets, but also custom offsets for those of you who are hot-rodding your later cars into early body styles, or building race cars with FIA compliant set ups, who find it hard to find affordable, correct looking solutions.

TwinSpark have had a few decisions to make on the road to this launch:

What maximum width do we provide?

We have decided to limit the width to 12J as we consider this the maximum for a 15″ wheel and 11J for the 16″ wheels. The benchmark we used to determine these measurements was a set of widened Fuchs wheels, with a similar construction to our new wheels, which measured 14J and under use of slicks at Assen Race [...]

 

The bi-annual BergMeister Tour for R Gruppe members has achieved a reputation of being one of the toughest public road driving events for classic 911s. R Gruppe members from around the world return to the event and ship cars in from afar, just to experience the atmosphere and driving with their friends. It is traditionally held in the mountainous areas of Europe and includes 30 cols of various degrees of altitude. The idea for this event was born from the desire to drive some of the classic rally roads of the Coupe des Alpes and the Monte Carlo Rally.

The BergMeister Tour is organised by TwinSpark Racing’s Leonard Stolk and he has been receiving regular requests from classic car enthusiasts to be invited. So TwinSpark have decided to start organising similar events for a broader audience, outside R Gruppe.
