We’re racing this weekend at the TT Assen circuit, with HARC and the Historic GT Touring Car Championships. Two TwinSpark cars are on track: our Viper Green 3.0 RSR and the Light Yellow 2.8 RSR we call Woodstock.
Damaged in a minor off at Spa last month, Woodstock has now been repaired. The widebody Porsche 911 is running brand new slicks and a little something extra: the first set of Zuffenhaus RSR brakes to enter Europe.
Fitted with Pagid Blue brake pads, the RSR brakes work well. TwinSpark partner and former Porsche Cup series driver Lex Proper will race the car in this configuration, and we’ll give a full report on his findings after the event.

The races of the Delta Lloyd Xclusief NK Historic Touring Cars and GTs are undoubtedly a highlight. With a wide range of entries, [...]

The Porsche Museum has shipped a number of exceptional machines to the southern hemisphere, including the RS60 and 908 Targa Florio winners, Moby Dick and one of the all conquering 962s. They have also sent a very special 911: the SC rally car used by Walter Röhrl and Christian Geistdörfer in the 1981 San Remo rally.
San Remo ’81 was a defining moment in the relationship between Röhrl and Porsche. With the 4wd Audis set to dominate, Walter and Christian kept them behind until a smashed SC driveshaft near the finish cost them the event.
