With our first races behind us it’s time to start focussing on the BergMeister Tour 2012. It’s hard to describe what the BergMeister is all about, but I’ll try.

I have regularly spent time in the South of France, visiting my sister, who lives and works there and I became enamored with the landscape of the Alpes Maritimes. During day trips my wife and I would criss cross the landscape in rental cars, looking for vantage points for photo’s, and at some stage I decided we needed to take the R Gruppe down here.

To mark the occasion, Porsche is presenting two racing versions of the 911 Carrera RS from the Porsche Museum at the new location in [...]

Each contributor gets a double page spread in rotation by issue to talk about what has caught their eye. This month is my turn. I ran with a few stories from WEVO dealer Specialist Vehicle Preparations, Tuthill Porsche, Porsche UK, Nicolas Hunziker and dearest TwinSpark.

The pic featured was taken by Leonard, on the day that Lex Proper cut the roof off The Hulk and welded in a sunroof-free panel. That week, the car was repainted up top and inside, ahead of our Spa track day. Everyone loved it in Belgium, so the work clearly paid off.
