WEVO Shifter Group Buy

I’m just working out the details of a group buy on WEVO shifters with some French friends and forum members. The guys are getting a discount in exchange for saving us work on single orders.

It’s not surprising that groups of enthusiasts are lining up to buy the WEVO shifter. Most buyers – certainly everyone we have feedback from – believe it is the best money they have spent on their classic Porsche. I would agree with that entirely: my car is absolutely fantastic to drive as a result of the WEVO shifter installed.

I first got into WEVO via Pelican, where many of the big names sang the praises of this reclusive figure, Hayden Burvill and his engineering excellence. Eventually I met Hayden and we hit it off immediately.

Hayden is the consummate classic Porsche hot rodder. A trained industrial designer, Hayden came to Europe from Australia and started race car engineering (that is running racing cars from trackside) on the Formula 1 grid in the late 1980s. After a few years in the UK, he went to America, where he got into Indy and Sportscar racing.

You won’t hear Hayden talking about his race wins, the cars he has helped design (G-Force Indy winners), the work he does on the Risi Ferraris (ALMS and Le Mans winners), or his time at Brumos Porsche. Neither will you hear him wax lyrical about the joy of using his product: the WEVO shifter.  So it is left to enthusiasts like myself to spread the gospel.

Have a search online for WEVO shifter feedback and you’ll get a glimpse of just how good the WEVO range is. The only objection sometimes raised is the price. But is it really that expensive? Many of us keep our cars ten years or more: spread the cost over ownership and it is next to nothing, for properly designed and manufactured engineering that transforms the classic Porsche driving experience.

WEVO shifters bolt in and can bolt out again. They hold great value on the used market and add value to a car, especially one sold to someone with 911 history. Every decent hot rod you can think of has a WEVO shifter and it is not because of the name: it simply does what the original does not. And it does it very well.

If you find the retail price high, get out there and find some friends to come on board with you. TwinSpark Racing, the European distributor of WEVO Porsche parts has no problem offering a discount for groups of five or more. Email me at john@twinsparkracing.com with any questions!
