The first working set of Zuffenhaus RSR brakes have arrived at TwinSpark Racing from the USA. It’s been a long wait, but the finished product looks amazing – hopefully our customers will feel they’ve been worth hanging on for. Here’s some pics of a caliper half post-anodising.
The idea behind these brake calipers was to build a set of RSR-style brakes that could fit as the originals, but use all still-available 911 Turbo/930 seals and service parts. The development has been riddled with challenges, but Zuffenhaus have finally brought all of the elements together and produced a remarkable and beautiful brake kit for the Porsche 911.
We have a sizable investment in this project; both financial and in our reputation. The relief at finally getting our hands on them should not be underestimated! Despite said relief, we are not rushing the product to retail without first testing them ourselves. We will fit them to Woodstock and run them on track at the first opportunity.
Our initial retail energy will be devoted to those who’ve sat on our waiting list for months. Once that list has been satisfied, we’ll put them live on the website and open them up to our trade affiliates. For more information on any of this, get in touch with Leonard by emailing info@twinsparkracing.com.
Here’s a quick video of the first assembled caliper in testing on the ProBrake rig in the US. I think it says it all. This is beautiful work, only available in Europe through TwinSpark Racing.com.
