It’s been a busy week here at TwinSpark’s UK outpost. As the latest addition to the company furniture, I’ve been settling into my shareholder chair, and swapping Skype calls with my partners, looking at what we’ve got and considering what we’d like to have. Top of the want list is the same as any retailer: more customers.
Steve Ballmer, the CEO of Microsoft (a company whose founders are renowned for Porsche enthusiasm) once said: “We can believe that we know where the world should go. But unless we’re in touch with our customers, our model of the world can diverge from reality. - Comments Off on Story of Spa: TwinSpark Racing in Total 911
The story of our June track day, where twenty-five air-cooled Porsche 911s came to Spa Francorchamps race track, features in this month’s Total 911 magazine. A common (and clever) choice is the 911 SC, due to the numbers that were made and the volume still running around today in decent condition: these cars were very solidly manufactured.
Coming in at SC level, some look to the 3.2 for their second 911. Some decide that a later 964 or 993 is the way to go. For those who have come in at the 964 or 993, they may decide to go to a 996 for their [...]
