The TwinSpark Racing team is proud of its customers, and is always eager to support them in fulfilling their dreams. Through the TwinSpark Blog we are going to present you stories about our clients around the world.
The first client we would like to present to you is Marco Leijten, an R Gruppe member in The Netherlands and a proud early Porsche fan. Marco and Leonard, our MD, go back all the way to Leonard’s Early Porsche 911&912 Club Netherlands days. Even back to the first trip that Leonard took to the Moselle Valley with the 1971 car we now call Silverado. And I was folded in the back!
Marco’s car is a Conda Green 1970 911 S which badly needed restoration. He has decided to follow a path we much recommend: modify the early car but in a way that the factory would have or could have done. That’s how you end up with a great, valuable early [...]

In our first race Jan headed for the lead from the rolling start, as the [...]- September 29, 2013

- Comments Off on RUSH The Movie: a must-see!
Today was one of those days where things come together. Due to work commitments I could not drive the Hulk on the GP Strecke of the Nurburgring today, but my mate Lex scored a 1:43 on the short track and took two P1’s overall. In those same races Gerd Rijper drove to a second place in his 74 RSR in the second race. Gerd owns the 1973 RSR prototype (see below in present paint scheme) that reached Niki Lauda as the first emergency vehicle after his infamous 1 August 1976 crash at the Nurburgring. It actually shows up, or at least an imitation of it, for about two seconds, in the movie I have just returned from.
I’m no expert on film making, but when the fundamental story is good the movie [...]
