I posted a while back on plans for a TwinSpark track day at Spa Francorchamps later this year. Those plans have now been finalised, and I’m happy to share them with you.

Our track day company for this event is the excellent Gold Track organisation from the UK. Melindi Scott and partner Calum Lockie hosted our very first Impact Bumpers track day at Donington Park in October 2006, and are the ultimate professionals. Gold Track is a leading light in ATDO, the Association of Track Day Organisers, so insurance for this track day should be no problem for those coming from Great Britain.

Gold Track are running on the 10th and 11th of October at a cost of £299 a [...]

- Comments Off on Porsche Pictures from TwinSpark Racing RSR Brake Victory
We’ve just had more pictures through from the weekend’s racing at Zandvoort, where TwinSpark Racing took a very groovy 1-2 victory in the Porsche 911 RSRs.

The winning RSR of TwinSpark partner Lex Proper (below) was running our new-to-market Zuffenhaus RSR brakes, now available in the TwinSpark Racing shop.

Confidence in the brakes is a key part of any racer’s armoury. Lex reports the brakes as exceptionally fade resistant, with impressive bite and great feedback. Running late on brakes and deep into the corners allows for some exciting passing manoeuvres when competition is tough, so the TwinSpark team are very optimistic for a thrilling rest of this season.

We’ve just won our first race using the Zuffenhaus RSR brakes, now in stock and on sale through the TwinSpark Racing online store.

Driving our early 2.8 RSR on slick tyres, Lex Proper came home in front of Leonard Stolk to take a TwinSpark 1-2 finish in the GT/TC Historic Touring Car championship at Zandvoort.
Racing on our home circuit was fun. Though Leonard in the Hulk has the advantage of a 3.0 RSR engine on MFI, the genuine Porsche ’74 RSR calipers and the wider track of Hulk, Lex’s long-time race craft, the light yellow RSR and slick tyres gave an advantage that was played to full effect.

Winning with products we saw the potential of before they were ever built is a delight [...]
