We’ve just won our first race using the Zuffenhaus RSR brakes, now in stock and on sale through the TwinSpark Racing online store.
Driving our early 2.8 RSR on slick tyres, Lex Proper came home in front of Leonard Stolk to take a TwinSpark 1-2 finish in the GT/TC Historic Touring Car championship at Zandvoort.
Racing on our home circuit was fun. Though Leonard in the Hulk has the advantage of a 3.0 RSR engine on MFI, the genuine Porsche ’74 RSR calipers and the wider track of Hulk, Lex’s long-time race craft, the light yellow RSR and slick tyres gave an advantage that was played to full effect.
Winning with products we saw the potential of before they were ever built is a delight for [...]

Just had some pics through from Leonard and Daan, and a few words about the Carrera PanEuropeana they are on at the minute.
This RGruppe Europe event is a drive from the Netherlands down through Belgium and into Germany. The guys were staying close to the Nürburgring for two nights and today have headed back up towards Spa, for the end of the racing there, before coming home. Leonard speaks:

We will actually turn the piece of bumper he crashed off the left front into the rotating trophy! Everybody more cautious and keeping distance to predecessor [...]

- Comments Off on WEVO engine mounts: Porsche 996 GT3
Leonard has just put WEVO engine mounts into his 996 GT3 and is super impressed with the results.
“Mounts are finally in and what a difference it makes! The car feels like new, no wobbles in the back anymore and reduced vibrations, believe it or not!” says the TwinSpark frontman of his new equipment.
Factory engine mounts are a comfort-centric compromise that allow some engine and gearbox movement in spirited driving. This movement can lead to a lack of complete control, as the drivetrain shifts out of harmony with the chassis. It also places additional stress on the suspension, already working hard at controlling the car.
Minimising excess drivetrain motion is a Porsche Motorsport priority. The factory fits solid engine mounts to its race cars, to firmly connect the drivetrain and chassis, maximise suspension control and enhance accuracy [...]
