Nice surprise as the 16 inch BBS E50 rims for the Hulk arrived at the shop yesterday. Such gorgeous pieces of work, I just had to share the photo with you! This is the style of rim which was used in the day of the G-Model RSR, albeit the centrelock version.

Although they cost an arm and a leg these days, I’m sure the combination with radial slicks will make a big difference in next year’s Historic GT/TC Championship in the Netherlands. Keep up with our progress on the TwinSpark Blog!

I’m currently in California, writing this on the porch at WEVO towers in beautiful San Francisco sunshine. Leonard is just about to arrive and pick up a 911 to take to Monterey. We’ll be spending the weekend down there at Rennsport Reunion.

Our track day on Monday at Spa was a big success. Twenty early Porsche 911s could be seen enjoying themselves on a dry, sunny afternoon at the legendary Belgian circuit. We had the passenger seat in The Hulk (above) and everyone who had a turn was awestruck by the speed of the car. That’s a WEVO shifter with SL shift knob in there by the way.

As I type this, the boys are all at the circuit getting signed in on the 2011 TwinSpark Racing Spa track day. Leonard has come with the Hulk, so we should have some fun around Spa with that this morning. I’ve just waved Paul and Chris off from the hotel:

Weather here is brightening up, nice breeze in the trees. The forecast is for sunshine later. We have slicks ready to go on the car for a warm track, or wets for something colder.

Not too late a night last night. I got here about 4.30 and shared a beer or two with some of the early Impact Bumpers crowd. People started trickling in throughout the evening, L arrived [...]
